The storm was forecast to travel east into the Great Lakes region, reaching Michigan and upstate New York according to the National Weather Service. "We have snow across the area with heavier amounts across northern Illinois," said Amy Seeley, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service office in Chicago.

Southwest plane diverted to Missouri over 'suspicious' behavior: FBI

A Southwest Airlines flight from Indianapolis to Los Angeles was diverted to Kansas City and searched on Sunday after the crew reported suspicious behavior by some passengers, the FBI said. "The flight crew diverted the flight to Kansas City out of an abundance of caution based upon suspicious behavior displayed by several passengers," FBI spokesperson Bridget Patton in Kansas City said in a statement.
