Opposition lawmakers in Taiwan have allegedly attacked the island's health minister over the government's response to the widening scandal over tainted Chinese milk products. TV footage broadcast on several networks showed the minister, Yeh Ching-chuan (seen here on September 26), being surrounded by a group of people, as reporters shouted AFP - Taiwan's health minister was hospitalised Friday after he was allegedly attacked by opposition lawmakers angry over the government's response to the widening scandal over tainted Chinese milk products, witnesses said.
